CARDONE

(NAP, NBB, NEC, NRD, NRP, NVP, TCM, TS, WP)

Warranty

CARDONE warrants only the products manufactured by CARDONE are free from defects in materi­al and workmanship under normal use and service provided that such defective products are returned to CARDONE promptly after claim of defect and provided that the units are properly installed in the vehicle for which they are intended.  Such warranty ceases either:

A.  Twelve (12) months after receipt of the defective product by the user of the product,

or

B.  At such time as the vehicle in which the product has been installed is driven 18,000 miles
after such installation, whichever occurs first.

The above mentioned warranty applies to the following product lines: Distributors (NRD) Smog Pumps (NAP) Vacuum Pumps (NVP) Electronics (NEC)

C.  A limited lifetime warranty is extended on the following product lines:
Power Steering (NAP)

Rack & Pinion (NRP) Master Cylinders (TS) Power Brake Units (NBB) Water Pumps (WP)

D.  Twelve (12) months/18,000 miles is the warranty on the following product line:
Transfer Case Motors

Except as expressly set forth above, CARDONE makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and makes no warranty of merchantability and no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. CARDONE's liability for defective products is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of said product.

Limitation Of Liability

The replacement of the unit is the sole and exclusive remedy for all warranty claims arising from the failure or defective condition of CARDONE remanufactured product whether such failure or defective condition is caused by Seller's negligence to breach of legal duty or otherwise. Seller will not reimburse the vehicle owner for the cost of removing or returning the failed or defective unit, installing the replacement unit or replacing any other parts, or for any other expenses, charges or damages. To the extent allowed by law, Seller will have no obligation to the vehicle owner or others for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the failure or defective condition of a CARDONE remanufactured product whether such failure or defective condition is caused by Seller's negligence and/or breach of legal duty or otherwise. Seller makes no warranties, representation or guarantees, whether written or oral, beyond those contained in this paragraph.
