(GA) Genuine Air Products strongly recommends the review and strict adherence to the procedures detailed in the compressor installation procedures (included with every New and Rema n ufactu red compressor) whenever replacing a compressor or related items. Genuine Air Products warrants to its direct purchasers for resale that all products are free from defects in material and workmanship. The term of this warranty for all "NAPA Temp" branded products, except compressors, equipment and tools, is a limited lifetime warranty. In both R-12 and R134a systems the period of the warranty for "NAPA Temp" branded compressors on passenger cars and light trucks is two (1) year or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of original installation. For commercial, agricultural and heavy duty applications the term of warranty on these same compressors is one (1) year/100,000miles. The term of this warranty for all "Genuine Air" products, including compressors, on all applications, including commercial, agricultural and heavy duty is (90) days. Genuine Air Products will, at its option, repair, replace, or issue a credit (based on original net selling price) for such products if proven within such period to be defective. Limited Warranty Should this compressor fail, and the failure, in Genuine Air's sole opinion be due to materials and/or workmanship and not improper installation, application and/or use within the specified warranty period using the guidelines listed below, Genuine Air will replace it FREE OF CHARGE. extends only to the original purchaser, for the original vehicle on which the
compressor
was installed. Genuine Air warranties this compressor for the warranty periods
listed above only. Any misapplication or abuse of this compressor will void
this warranty. Warranty will only apply to compressors sold in the In order for this warranty to be in effect, this compressor must be installed according to the installation procedures included. Failure to install a new receiver drier/accumulator, orifice tube, expansion valve screen and in-line filter on systems with accumulator will void this warranty. In the case of systems retrofitted from R12 to R134a use, evidence of proper lubricant flushing and proper installation of the correct R134a lubricant type is required.
