Warranty

Passenger cars and light trucks: 3 years or 36,000 miles

Gopher Motor Rebuilding will pay the original installers full shop rate multiplied by 80% of the retail time listed in the Motors Labor Time Guide. This labor policy applies if the engine is purchased and installed by a professional repair facility. If the engine is purchased and/or installed by an individual who is not a professional repair facility, a maximum of $20 per hour labor allowance will apply.

    Heavy Duty Trucks (1 ton and over), commercial, fleet and vans: 3 years/36,000 miles parts and
labor (Labor policy will be the same as above only a $400 labor cap will be applied).

    Marine, industrial, recreational and stationary power units: 12 months parts and labor (labor pol­
icy is the same as above only a $400 cap will be applied).

    Class A Motor homes: 12 months/1200 miles parts only

Short Blocks

  All short blocks have 5 months/5000 miles parts and labor warranty (Labor warranty is same
as above)

This is a limited warranty covering defective materials or workmanship furnished by Gopher Motor Rebuilding and is not an unconditional guarantee against all hazards or failures.

In the event service is required within the warranty period, we require notification of the required service before authorization is given to repair the problem. The defective parts must then be returned to Gopher and must be determined by Gopher that failure was due to defective materials or workmanship furnished by Gopher. All parts will be furnished by Gopher or at jobber cost to make necessary repairs.

This warranty does not cover failures caused by defective or improper installation, or defective parts not furnished with engine. Warranty does not cover engines that are abused, neglected, over­heated, operated under conditions that cause cracked blocks, scored and/or burned pistons, scored cylinders walls, greater than normal wear, pre-ignition, detonation and/or any signs of oil, anti-freeze, towing, car rental or lost time charges. This warranty is completely transferable. Replacement or repairs do not extend this warranty.

Warranty is void if Manufacturers warranty care is not submitted to Gopher at time of installation or cubic inches are changed without Gopher's authorization.
