Warranty Policy

For one year from the date of purchase, NAPA Air Compressors will replace for the original purchas­er free of charge, any part or parts found upon examination by any Authorized Service Center to be defective in material or workmanship or both. All transportation charges or parts submitted for replacement under this warranty must be borne by the purchaser. There is no other express warran­ty, implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to one year from the date of purchase and to the extent permitted by law, any and all implied warranties are excluded. This is the exclusive remedy, and liability for consequential dam­ages under any and all warranties are excluded to the extent exclusion is permitted by law.

This warranty does not apply to electric motors or gasoline engines. These are covered by the Original Manufacturer's Warranty and should be returned (by the customer) to their authorized service center for service.

All claims pertaining to the merchandise in this schedule, with the exception of warranty claims, must be filed with NAPA Air Compressors within 12 months of the invoice date, or they will not be honored. Prices, discount, and terms are subject to change without notice or as stipulated in spe­cific product quotations. All agreements are contingent upon strikes, accidents, and other causes beyond our control. All shipments are carefully inspected and counted before leaving the factory. Please inspect carefully any receipt of merchandise, noting any discrepancy or damage on the carri­er's freight bill at time of delivery. Discrepancies or damage, which obviously occurred in transit, are the carrier's responsibility and related claims should be made promptly directly to the carrier.

Returned merchandise will not be accepted without prior written authorization by NAPA Air Compressors. Deductions from invoices for shortage or damage claims will not be allowed. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, these terms and conditions will control in any transaction with NAPA Air Compressors, regardless of any different or conflicting terms as may appear on any order form now or later submitted by the buyer. All orders are subject to acceptance by NAPA Air Compressors.

Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, which is evidence that the unit is within the warranty period, must be presented to obtain warranty service.

This warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product, or an electric compressor has been used in conjunction with a generator.

Warranty Policies and Procedures Service Policy

1.    Jobber or Jobbere customer must telephone (1-800-345-0578, ext. 304 or 868) NAPA Air Compressor Service Department with:

a.   Model number

b.    Date of purchase

c.   Problem

Note: Factory will determine the problem with the equipment. If Product Warranty, Non-Warranty or Repair & Return, the Factory will instruct the Jobber on correct return procedures.

Return Goods Policy: Repair & Return for Alleged Warranty Defects Jobber must:

1.     Have Factory Return for Inspection (RFI) Number (issuance of RFI's is not a guarantee credit
will be issued).

Returned merchandise will not be accepted without prior written authorization by NAPA Air Compressors. Deductions from invoices for shortage or damage claims will not be allowed. Telephone Factory (1-800-345-0578, ext 304 or 868) for authorization and RFI number.

2.         RFI Number MUST be on return carton and Jobber RGN form.

3.         A copy of Customer Invoice (Proof of Purchase) MUST accompany RGN form (this supplies proof
of warranty period). Failure to provide Proof of Purchase will result in unit being returned to
shipper.

4.         All component pieces must be attached to ensure complete unit is returned.

5.         Properly package and secure, on a pallet, all products for return shipping and return as soon as
possible.

NOTE: Failure to properly package products may result in further damage not covered by Warranty. NAPA Air Compressors will not be held responsible for freight damage. Claims for dis­crepancies or damage occurring in transit must be filed promptly with the freight carrier.

6.     Send a copy of RGN to serving Distribution Center.

7.              &nb sp;    All transportation charges on parts submitted for replacement or repair under this warranty
must be borne by purchaser. No premium freight charges will be accepted. Although transporta­
tion charges are the responsibility of the purchaser, we recommend the use of the following car­
riers: RMDS, Overnite, Roadway, Averitt, Old Dominion, Federal Express, Southeastern, Wilson,
Yellow and UPS.

8.   NAPA Air Compressors will repair or replace, at warrantor's option, products or components that have failed within duration of the warranty period. Upon inspection, any credits to be issued will be based on age of unit, condition of unit, and time unit was in service. No credit or payment will be made for down time, rental units or other related expenses.

IMPORTANT: Factory RFI Number and Customer Invoice MUST be attached/accompany return or goods will be returned Freight Collect.

NOTE: If inspection determines problem was not a warranty defect, Factory will discuss with the Jobber the problem and estimate the repair before repairing and/or returning.

Return Goods Policy: Repair and Return for Non-Warranty Repairs Repair and Return Items Must:

1.  Have Factory Repair and Return Authorization (R&R) Number.

2.         R & R Number MUST be on return carton and Jobber RGN Form.

3.         All component pieces must be attached to ensure complete unit is returned.

4.         Properly package and secure, on a pallet, all products for return shipping and return as soon as
possible.

NOTE: Failure to properly package products may result in further damage and additional repair costs.

5.         Send copy of RGN to Distribution Center.

6.      All transportation charges must be borne by purchaser. Although transportation charges are
responsibility of the purchaser, we recommend the use of the following carriers: RMDS, Overnite,
Roadway, CF and UPS.

IMPORTANT: Items number 1) and 2) above must be attached to carton to ensure prompt serv­ice and return.

NOTE: Factory will inspect product and telephone Jobber concerning estimated repair cost before repairing and/or returning. If a reply is not received concerning repair estimate within 15 days after the estimate is given, the unit will be returned Freight Collect. The $35 estimate fee will be waived if the customer decides to have the unit repaired.

Return Goods Policy: Electric Motors and Gasoline Engines

These items are under warranty by the original manufacturer service centers, NOT NAPA Air Compressors (Telephone 1-800-345-0578, ext. 304 or 868) for the procedure and nearest serv­ice location to have your unit repaired.
