NAPA Hand/Service Tools offers one of the most comprehensive warranty programs in the tool market. Our program is designed to keep the professional technician in business by offering a life­time warranty on all non-serviceable and non-disposable products.

Should any NAPA Hand or Service tool fail to perform under normal use due to defect in material or workmanship, the tool may be returned to any NAPA AUTO PARTS Store for replacement. This warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective item and does not include compensation for incidental loss or damage resulting from the defective product. Normal use is defined as in accor­dance with reasonable application as intended. Indications of non-normal use are specified in the NAPA Hand Tool "Abused Tool Alert" guidelines. The NAPA AUTO PARTS Store, Salesperson or Distribution Center is expected to uphold our warranty program and enforce the policy if abuse is suspected or apparent. Credit will not be issued under the following circumstances.

1.  "Any tool subject to abuse or use other than its intended purpose is not covered under our war­
ranty
policy." We will return select "abused" tools to the Distribution Centers to be passed back
to the NAPA Store. Copies of the "Abused Tool Alert" are available from your Tools & Equipment
Salesperson or NAPA Hand/Service Tools.

2.      NAPA Hand/Service Tool "sets" do not qualify under this warranty policy. However, individual
items within a given set do qualify for warranty return as long as the "Abused Tool Alert" guide­
lines are followed.

3.      Tools that are specified to be "Serviceable" in the Hand & Service Tool section of the NAPA Tool
& Equipment price sheet are not covered in this warranty policy. The individual tool component
part that is damaged is the only part that is covered under warranty. See Footnotes and
Warranty Section in NAPA T & E Price Sheet under NAPA Hand/Service Tools for more detail.

4.      NAPA Hand/Service Tools is not responsible for warranty credit on Evercraft Tools (see
Balkamp).

5.      Multiple shipping quality defects (overages/shortages) cannot be claimed against the same
invoice. Such claims must be made within 30 days of the date of the invoice. Multiple claims and
claims made after the 30-day time limit will not be considered.

Warranty Credit Claims

Warranties should be accumulated and reviewed by a NAPA Hand/Service Tool representative on a monthly basis.

All returns should be documented using a NAPA Hand/Service Tool RGA (Return Goods Authorization) form and sent to the NAPA Hand & Service Tool Distribution Center, Hanover, MD for credit. Original white copy of RGA form must accompany the shipment for credit to be issued. Shipping labels must be placed on boxes indicating "Box 1" or "Box 1 of 2", etc.

Serviceable product should be sent to the designated service centers indicated in the Hand Tool or Service Tool section of the NAPA Tool & Equipment price sheet and only sent to the Hanover facili­ty if indicated. Service Tools that are "new defectives" or tools that fail on first application may be returned to the Hanover distribution center for full credit.

Credit for defective products is issued at DC net. Product claimed as defective may not be resold or reclaimed for their original intended purpose. See warranties listed in the Hand and Service Tool section of the current NAPA Tool & Equipment price list for further detail.
