LIGHT DUTY - LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

For as long as you own the vehicle, Perfect Circle" Piston Rings warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship when used on private passenger cars and light trucks under normal operating conditions when properly installed and maintained. The warranty does not extend to: (1) any losses due to misuse, accident, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or improper appli­cation or (2) products that have been altered. This warranty is limited to the replacement of the product and does not cover removal or installation or any other direct or indirect expense.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, AND IN NO EVENT WILL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO PRIVATE PASSENGER CARS AND LIGHT TRUCKS, UP TO AND INCLUDING ONE (1) TON. PRODUCTS USED ON LIGHT DUTY VEHICLES FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOS-ES WILL BE WARRANTED UNDER THE HEAVY DUTY WARRANTY.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY IMPLIED OR OTHERWISE ON PARTS USED IN COMPETITION (RACING) APPLICATIONS.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUEN­TIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THIS WARRANTY, RETURN THE DEFECTIVE PART WITH THE PURCHASE RECEIPT TO THE INSTALLING DEALER OR YOUR NAPA AUTO PARTS STORE FOR VERIFICATION AND EXCHANGE. NO CLAIMS FOR PRODUCTS ALLEGED TO BE DEFECTIVE WILL BE ALLOWED UNTIL CLEVITE HAS HAD A REASONABLE OPPORTUNITY TO EXAMINE THE PRODUCT.

WARRANTY STATEMENT - HEAVY DUTY PARTS

Product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years from date of purchase or 200,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Dana will grant a credit or, at its option, replace the product or component part thereof that is determined to be defective. The product will be credited or replaced only upon presentation of the original invoice. The warranty does not extend to: (1) any losses due to misuse, accident, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or improper instal­lation, maintenance or application or (2) products that have been altered.
