Wouldn't have been able to keep most of these cars on the road here without your help. I appreciate all the support you and the rest of the men at women have given me and the U.S. Embassy, Kabul Afghanistan for the last year.

I have had very good luck with finding parts for my American made vehicles, using www.dmauto.com. If they do not have the part on the web site, they have gone so far as to arrange for the dealer to get the part for me. Very good customer service. Once they even called me in Nairobi with a question on my order.

I also want to make sure you know that your extra efforts are appreciated here. And that getting these parts will make a real difference to us. We rely on the Chevrolets (and Ford) for which D&M is supplying the parts. They are good vehicles and we treat them well, but with poor driving conditions (including the need to ford a river every time we go to the military airport at Bagram) and mediocre fuel quality, keeping the vehicles running can be difficult. The armoring is absolutely necessary but makes maintenance a challenge. The vehicles get heavy usage by our Embassy staff, by a company of the Marine Expeditionary Brigade stationed here, and by a constant stream of visiting Congresspeople, military brass, and technicians.

Anytime you see a news report from Kabul which involves Americans here, you will know that the vehicles that you are helping to support were involved in some way. Please thank Tom and Rose and Rik and anyone else at D&M who is involved in putting this together.

I'm a military man stationed in Germany, and at times it's hard to find certain parts over here. I was in the states a couple of weeks ago and I picked up some parts that I needed. Unfortunately, one of the parts I picked up wasn't the right one.
I EXPLAINED TO THE TECHNICIAN THE LOCATION AND TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY THE PART THAT I NEEDED. HE WAS UNCERTAIN OF THE PART, BUT HE WENT OUT OF THE WAY BY REQUESTING MY VIN NUMBER TO CALL GM TO ENSURE WE WERE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME PART. WITH THE UNCERTAINTY GOING ON IN THE WORLD TODAY, I WAS GETTING MY WIFE'S CAR IN THE BEST SHAPE POSSIBLE IN CASE OF MY UNFORTUNATE DEPLOYMENT. RICK WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND IN HIS ATTEMPTS TO SERVICE HIS CUSTOMER. HE'S THE KIND OF PERSON WHO ENSURES BUSINESSES HAVE REPEAT CUSTOMERS. HATS OFF TO RICK. I just processed my 1st on-line purchase and that was with you for an alternator for my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder. I hope to view your web site more as I need rerpair parts and maintenance items.
